Kentucky Fairness Alliance moves annual event to Elizabethtown

Nov 16th, 2009 | By United We Stand Contributors & Staff | Category: Around the Commonwealth

This year the Kentucky Fairness Alliance decided not to hold their annual fundraiser in Lexington, Louisville, Covington or any of the “usual” prospects for large cities in Kentucky.  Instead, they held the event in Elizabethtown, a central city that allowed more people to participate.

By holding the event in Elizabethtown on November 14th, people from Lexington and Louisville could attend for about an hours drive, but it also made the event closer for people in Bowling Green, Owensboro, and a lot of smaller, surrounding cities.

Earlier this year Kentucky Fairness Alliance lost their executive director when she resigned to join Lt. Governor Daniel “Dan” Mongiardo’s Campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Kentucky Fairness Alliance annual “Out & About gala” is held annually.
