While several Seattle Catholic parishes have oped out of the anti-same-sex marriage campaign, a Kirkland pastor said Sunday that marriage was “created and defined by God” and that Gay marriage “is simply not possible.”

In just a year and a half, the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community of Puerto Rico has been rocked by the deaths of 18 of its members, with three murdered in the last week alone. The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States and is not a sovereign State like the other 50 which appear on the United States flag. Pedro Julio Serrano, communications manger for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force said there has been a “spike in violence against the LGBT people since the ‘80s, when we had a serial killer who killed 27 gay men.”

The Douglass Boulevard Christian Church in Louisville (Disciples of Christ) unanimously voted to end the practice of signing marriage licenses because they give legal benefits to heterosexual couples that are not available to homosexual couples.

The anti-gay marriage amendment in Georgia is unconstitutional per the Georgia Constitution, much the same way Prop 8 is unconstitutional and places the California constitution in direct contradiction with itself, this is proof that Kentucky’s Constitution does as well.
