Will Smith slaps journalist who tries to kiss him. “C’mon man, what the hell is your problem buddy?” Smith said as he pushed Serdiuk away and slapped him lightly across the cheek with the back of his left hand. “He’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him,” Smith said to the crowd of journalists and fans. “Oh, I said that on camera. In the United Kingdom, along with help from people from the state of California, a Christian charity which sponsored a conference promoting the idea that gay people can be converted to heterosexuality has funded interns for an estimated 20 Members of Parliament (MPs), including some who are now ministers in the coalition government. The conference featured a keynote by Joseph Nicolosi, a Californian psychologist and founder of the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality in the United States. No statement has been issued by Queen Elizabeth II nor her representatives.

Felipe Calderon, president of the United Mexican States and his opposition to legalize gay marriage and calling it “unconstitutional” was overruled on Thursday, August 5, 2010 when Mexico’s Supreme Court sanctioned the landmark law. On Monday it will review the gay adoption clause. Washington, D.C. legalized gay marriage earlier this year after a District Superior Court rejected a citizens anti-gay marriage referendum.

The Argentine Republic on Thursday became the first nation in Latin America to legalize same-sex marriage, turning aside protests from the Roman Catholic Church to give gay couples the same rights as their heterosexual counterparts. It was not immediately clear if the provinces will accept the Federation’s legalization of same-sex marriage.

The United Kingdom announced today that it will review its aid to Malawi if the Government refuses to free two gay men who were sentenced to 14 years’ hard labor this week. Tiwonge Chimbalanga and Steven Monjeza — who were sentenced to 14 years hard labor on Thursday for getting engaged in a traditional ceremony in December.

The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Intersex Organization (“ILGA”), formerly known simply as “International Lesbian and Gay Organization” the world’s largest LGBTI organization, with nearly 700 member organizations in 110 counties across the world commented today about the cancellation of a worldwide conference due to threats, protests, and violence.

A retired American general has apologized for a remark to the U.S. Senate suggesting that gay Dutch soldiers were partly to blame for the Srebrenica massacre by Serb soldiers in Bosnia, according to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Defense Ministry. The Netherlands Defense Ministry released an e-mail Tuesday from Sheehan, a former NATO commander who retired from the military in 1997, to retired Dutch General Henk van den Breemen saying he is sorry for his statements to the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee on March 18, 2010.

The law was proposed in Uganda’s Parliament following a visit by leaders of U.S. conservative Christian ministries that promote therapy for gays to become heterosexual. However, at least one of those leaders has denounced the bill, as have some other conservative and liberal Christians in the United States.

Republic of Uganda proposes law to executive homosexuals. The worldwide outrage continues. In a groundbreaking move, a representative of the Pope in the audience read a statement strongly condemning the criminalization of homosexual conduct. A powerful U.S. Representative urged the Republic of Ugandan to ‘come to their senses’ and reject a controversial proposed law that would punish homosexuality with life in prison, without the possibility of parole or pardon.
