Secretary Grayson resigns; Governor Beshear appoints Bowling Green Mayor to replace him

The Kentucky Department of State of without a representative elected by the people as Secretary Trey Grayson has submitted his resignation to Governor Steve Beshear. Grayson lost the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate to the anti-gay Tea Party favorite Rand Paul.
