Straight groups says gay community is a military organization; lobby for straight awareness month

This is one of the dumbest things ever sent to Kentucky Guardian as a new tip. Black History Month, Gay Pride Month, etc., now some misguided heterosexual people have sent Kentucky Guardian the following. As one of the fastest growing facebook pages today Heterosexual awareness month has recently come under attack by a militant sect of the homosexual community. The internet seems to be on fire with attacks from homosexuals against the page with blogs, YouTube videos, petitions, websites turning up everywhere.



Kentucky Equality Federation comments on the Statewide Fairness Coalition

Louisville Fairness Campaign and the Statewide Equality Coalition will begin working with Kentucky Equality Federation and vice versa according to a press release issued by Kentucky Equality Federation earlier today. This is the first time Kentucky Equality Federation has spoken about the Statewide Equality Coalition since its Board voted to withdraw.



Kentucky’s anti-gay marriage law illegal?

The anti-gay marriage amendment in Georgia is unconstitutional per the Georgia Constitution, much the same way Prop 8 is unconstitutional and places the California constitution in direct contradiction with itself, this is proof that Kentucky’s Constitution does as well.

The Alphabet Center, the new gay-straight alliance at Eastern Kentucky University will post a public forum of fairness and equality in Kentucky tomorrow from 6 pm – 9 pm.



Has support for gay and lesbian people in Kentucky grown?

Despite a survey released by Kentucky Fairness Alliance, Lexington Fairness, Louisville Fairness Campaign, and the ACLU of Kentucky that support for gay and lesbian causes have grown in Kentucky, Kentucky Equality Federation disagrees because nothing has changed.
