If Republicans fail to hold-on to their new gay voters, the additional seats they pictured up in the Kentucky House of Representatives and control of the U.S. House of Representatives could be short lived, and if Kemper’s attitude is any indication, it will be.

Republicans gain 10 new Governor’s Mansions, new seats in the Kentucky House, the Kentucky Senate, and take control of the U.S. House of Representatives. With such huge losses to conservatives, the gay military ban will remain in place, with no gay friendly legislation passing either the U.S. or Kentucky Houses or Senates.

A Louisville Tea Party supporter continues to flood us with emails stating the Louisville Tea Party is not anti-gay as previously reported. The Tea Party movement is no doubt as diverse as the Democratic, Republican, and Libertarian parties, each have anti-gay segments among their ranks.

The president of the anti-gay American Family Association of Kentucky, Dr. Frank G. Simon, is also in charge of the Louisville Tea Party, though not endorsed or recognized by the national Tea Party movement. Dr. Rand Paul, is scheduled to speak at Kentucky Freedom Fest 2010.
